What is hydrojet drain cleaning?

Hydrojet or hydro-jetting consists of a high-pressure hose with a specialized nozzle connected to a machine that pressurizes the water, producing a powerful stream that clears the drain. This is usually done through a clean-out, which is an opening that allows plumbers to clean out clogs. The water is forced down the drain, where it pushes grease, mineral build-up, hair and other debris through the drain. With a powerful enough Hydrojet (Hydro-Jet), tree roots can also be broken up. But rest assured, before using a Hydro-Jet to clean your drain(s), American Sewer Specialist will inspect the drain with a small camera to determine if the pipe is damaged.

Can Hydro jetting damage pipes?

Hydro jetting will not damage your pipes. The pulse flow of this type of cleaning makes it easier for us to maneuver the hose. This will avoid damage to older pipes. Bad drain odors caused by bacteria is history after using the hydro jetting cleaning.

He worked on our fairly massive problem and we closed on the property without a delay. He was so patient with us as we were so panicked and living 70 miles away. Big problem-big job...BUT fair price!! Many thanks Michelle and Rick!!!!!!"
